CRM & Content Management System
Overview
A unified platform combining customer relationship management, blog publishing, and event tracking for a Gambian media client — built with Next.js 14 and powered by Sanity CMS for non-technical content authors.
The Challenge
The client was juggling three separate tools: a spreadsheet for contacts, WordPress for blog content, and a manual calendar for events. Each had its own login, there was no unified view of customer interactions, and the WordPress setup was slow to customize. Content editors had no structured workflow.
The Solution
Built a Next.js 14 App Router app with a custom admin dashboard backed by Sanity CMS for structured content authoring. Integrated a CRM module for contact management with tags and interaction history. Added an event management calendar with automated email reminders. Content editors use Sanity Studio; admins use the custom dashboard.
Outcome
Live in production at leral-gambia.vercel.app. Content publish time dropped from 45 minutes with WordPress to under 10 minutes using the structured Sanity authoring experience. The client team of 4 now manages all digital operations — content, contacts, and events — from a single platform.
