Multi-Vendor Stock Management
Overview
A full-stack inventory management platform for Ndimbalaan Enterprise, enabling real-time stock tracking across multiple vendors with role-based access control for admins, vendors, and viewers.
The Challenge
Ndimbalaan Enterprise was managing inventory across six vendors entirely through spreadsheets emailed back and forth. Stock discrepancies went unnoticed for days, low-stock situations led to lost sales, and generating management reports was a manual multi-hour process at the end of each week.
The Solution
Built a Laravel-powered web application with a MySQL database, featuring role-based access (admin, vendor, viewer), real-time stock level dashboards, automated email alerts when stock falls below configurable thresholds, and a one-click PDF reporting module. The multi-vendor architecture isolates each vendor's data while giving admins a unified view.
Outcome
Eliminated manual spreadsheet processes entirely. Stock discrepancies are now caught within minutes rather than days. Low-stock alerts have significantly reduced stockout incidents. Weekly report generation went from 3 hours to one click. The system now handles 6 vendors and 1,000+ SKUs in production.
